Whose pipe is it?
Most of Montgomery and Prince George's counties are served by WSSC Water. Rockville and parts of Bowie have their own city utilities, and Frederick County and the Town of Mt. Airy run their own systems. Some homes farther out are on private wells and septic.
In general, the utility looks after the public main, and the property owner looks after the lines on their property. The exact dividing point varies by utility, and we check it before any work near the connection.
